Baby its Cold outside..

I'm loving all the awesome Christmas cards & pictures that have arrived in my mailbox, friends! When I find a 6-ft-tall significant other I'll join the Christmas mail-out. Maybe I can get a pic of Melissa (my roomie) & me in front of our decorated mantle soon. Two christmas stockings are hung for 2 very nice girls... ho ho ho!

Rachel had successful surgery today to replace her skull bone. Yippee, for Christmas she gets to put the blue helmet away in the closet! She's in the hopsital saying she's hungry and has a headache- expected side effects of carpentry on your cranium I suppose. We're thrilled she's doing well and will be home for Christmas. I hear Rach & Abbey like singing Christmas songs.. I'm waiting for some pics or a video Pleasants!

I'm also writing a letter to Santa asking for no more emergencies or surgeries for the Stevens family over the next year. My DAD just had to join in- he discovered eye problems today which if from a retinal tear/detachment in his right eye. Doctor said surgery Tomorrow! No kidding. Mom's in Michigan with Rach, so lucky M1 Adam to the rescue again. I think he's getting quite the medical training this year. I don't remember our family ever asking Santa for this year-long-series of medical attention - so I'm sending him a correction letter in case there was a mix-up. All I want for Christmas is to be healthy, (given up on wealthy), and wise. I think we're almost there!

I appreciate all the recent comments, calls, emails more than you know. I had an awesome weekend celebrating my "one-year-anniversary". More to share & show with you over the holidays. But tonight, Brrrrrrrrr... Baby its cold outside!
