popcorn & movies
sooo... just waking up from "praying" at my desk. Time to move this week along & get to Thrs/Fri! I went out last night with coworkers to dinner & movie, goodtime. We saw RENT... fantabulous! I'm a huge musical fan- wonder if kelly heard me singing during the movie. Almost busted out with my showchoir face, but I held out till I could sing along in the car. If you haven't seen it, know the premise of the musical/movie beforehand so you know what to expect. then you can enjoy the musical talent and themes of "No Day But Today" and "Seasons of Love". Rosario Dawwon rocked, the Law&Order guy, Jesse Martin- huge stretch from NYPD cop, I was impressed. And Taye Diggs- that guy may be the most beautiful man alive. Dare you to disagree!
The Producers comes out in December too! -surprise Will Pharrell's in it, with M.Broderick and Uma. Since I'm not getting to NewYork soon enough, guess I'll take broadway on the big screen.

guuurrlll, how you durrin? ummm good flix i've seen...ooo,ooo, i saw chicken little over thanksgiving. "the sky is falling, the sky is falling." i kept typing SKI instead of SKY. i think that is telling me something!!! oh yeah, (ADD girl) i have to say the movie was pretty cute!
Hey Hannah- thanks for telling us about RENT. I too love musicals! Bekah wants to see RENT too, is it suitable for a 12 year old?
I didn't know about the producers coming out. That makes me smile.
We are off to see the Wizard tomorrow night to see WICKED at the Fox. I will let you know how it goes. I can't believe that all of the shows are SOLD OUT! I am so excited.
On another movie note, I saw Harry Potter on the new IMAX screen at Ronnies. I am not a Potter fan... AT ALL, but it was awesome. I think everyone should see this one, and if they can, in an IMAX theatre. It was really good.
Oh yeah... one more thing.... maybe you should save the show choir face for another day? I put mine away a long time ago after seeing some really scary pictures from High School!

Connie I'm jealous of your Fox Theatre tickets! can't wait to hear about it. RENT- I'd say no way for a 12yr old. My mom wouldn't even like it. Too much -- well I'll email you!

We took our mothers to Yours, Mine and Ours over the holiday. It was a fun little family movie. I heard that Pride and Prejudice is really good. I saw the pastor of Bellevue going into it, so it must not be too dirty!
I can't wait to see Chronicles of Narnia and many others. I plan on going to many movies right when I'm done with finals! Nothing better than going to the movies on your winter break--well, I guess you don't get one of those, but you can play on mine!
Not coming to New York soon enough. Hannah -- when are you coming to NYC. I need someone to go to Spamalot with. You know, I have tons of miles on Northwest.
I'm saving my pennies for "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." Our family is really looking forward to this one. I hop[e they do a good job with it.
Have fun running the marathon. I'm going to try and do a 1/2 marathon next fall in CO with some buddies.
So, I'm a day late in my blogging..so I hope you get this! We saw Yours, Mine, and Ours last weekend because we were hanging out with our niece and nephew...and it was really cute...a fun, clean, family movie. This weekend we are finally going to see Walk The Line, so I will let you know what I think. And tonight, we are watching one from a few years ago "Elf"..so cute...and gets us into the holiday spirit! Thanks for the details about Rent...I will have to add that to my list..maybe one to see without Marc!
