TurkeyDay '05 ~ WebsterGroves Wins, reclaims the Frisco Bell!! Final score 20-19 with touchdown & interception during the last 5 mintues... woooo hoooo! (Get that Daddy Laddie?) In case you haven't heard of the Webster-Kirkwood TurkeyDay Game, its the oldest (and best!) highschool/football rivalry west of the Mississippi River. Its been around since the early 1900's, 1906 I believe. If you grew up in Webster, or neighboring community Kirkwood, its not Thanksgiving until the TurkeyDay Game is played. If you're eight or eighty, you go to the noon game and bleed orange or red. The best team, Webster, won today. Gooo Big Orange! I feel a cheer coming on...
My cousin Wendy stopped by a few mintues ago to say Hi -- so great seeing her! Looking foward to catching up more & seeing the rest of the Truss fam this weekend too.
The TurkeyDay Run was nice this morning... I got a little haggled wearing my orange/black WG attire in Kwood territory. However once they saw my race number was #666, all pepes backed off! Cruised 56:20 for 6 mile run. The perk was starting the day with a 500 cal deficit.. I will be helping myself to yummy seconds this evening!
With WG Victory & game over... finally its time to eat & be merry. Mom has the house smelling awesome... Cheers & Happy Thanksgiving everyone! -pics on the way later-

MJ and I say HAPPY LATE-THANKSGIVING & HAPPY BLACK FRIDAY! (Whatever that means, but we see it on the news!) We just got back from our first trip to World Market. Great little store. All kinds of import beers and foods. I like it.
