monday chants

Something seems to fit with Monday and a cloudy day... maybe because its usually somewhat of a drudge to return to rush-hour traffic and working after a nice weekend. If it isn't a beautiful day outside, might as well be working eh?

This working Monday was surprisingly pleasant... started with getting to work early (a rarity in itself); good conversations and laughter with my Rehab team; and my pediatric speech-tx patients were adorable today! Just months ago I was complaining about having to do a few afternoons of peds. Funny how this challenge is turning into a blessing.

Cute Eric is 3-yrs-old and likes to talk, which is better than most of my kids. Bad thing is, I understand nada when he says more than one word. His father taught him to chant "LSU" this weekend watching football- and suprisingly its pretty clear. Everytime we'd get to something he didn't know, he'd throw in his new cheer.

me: Eric, count the puppies for me..
eric: oday (ok), un, doo, dee, dor, , , LSU! LSU! (giggle giggle)

We laughed the whole session, and I'll take that for any Monday! My next goal is to tweek that chant into "Mizzou! Mizzou!" and we'll have no problem.
Just like these two good lookin' Mizzou-Tiger fans...
