sunfunday
Ice storms yesterday cancelled church for this morning- figures, the one Sunday I wake up at 7am looking for something to do! Considered ice skating in my driveway, couldn't find my outfit though. I'm back into painting my house this weekend. Finished my bedroom, bathroom, and most of the baseboards and crown molding today. Nothing like covering up a little dirt with fresh paint! Wholla - so clean. Nice break at Jason's Deli this afternoon with MD, Felkins, and Jessica. (Ad I had complimentary ice cream for you, swirled and yumm!) Other than that, I've been addicted to the Winter Olympics- all the skiing, snowboarding, and figure skating, mixed in with Grey's Anatomy tonight. Sweet Sunday. Looking for a good week for everyone ahead!
Here's what I liked reading in Isaiah tonight- "Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
(and as Madea would say, Halleluyer! ...MaryD, meet Shirley-Q's cousin here! )

Sounds like a nice Sunday. Based on the ratings, you should probably email the Olympic comittee to let them know you're the one watching. Perhaps you'll get some sort of gift.
Just don't try emulating some of those downhill skiers in Park City, UT next month! Remember, no skiing out of control!!!
Love,
DAD
P.S. No tree trails!
