dark again
so lucky to have full power the last 2 days while 1/2 million st. louisans are out! well luck just changed. another front of storms today down goes knightsbridge place. uuuugh. it was nice while it lasted. right now i'm at mom's work, we're making coffee, have been out to dinner. not much to do at home while its dark. half of my patients today at Barnes were admitted related to heat exhaution & medical reasons from no electricity. i'm scheduled to work tomorrow anyways, but pretty much all hospital workers are on call for crisis mangagement. alot of bad situations for people all over the city. keeps me from thinking i'm inconvienced just b/c i can't straighten my hair tomorrow. really. spending time with people and and giving a helping hand is what we're made to do. no time to miss a/c and tv. which brings me back to fond memories of hurricane elvis... i've missed camping out for sometime anyways. no time to do it like this weekend i guess!

Oh no! Nate and I have not gone out ONCE, so you are more than welcome to stay over here! My parents have already stayed one night. Just let me know!!! I can blow up an air mattress if anyone else needs to stay!
Thanks for the offer Becky. I had to kick Hannah out of my bed about 1:00 a.m. this morning. She accused me of being "so mean" when I told her to get up and go to her own bed as I needed to use my cpap. I am praying in earnest her house sells soon! :-)
yo dad- she was talking to me! And lets clarify, you were sleeping the basement & I happened to fall asleep in mom's king sized bed b/c it was hot in my room! you changed your mind at only 1am about sleeping arrangements; of course I'm pleasant when I wake up.
You are a very pleasant child...except at 1:00 a.m. in the morning. I hope the Lord comes in the afternoon for your sake! :-)
